

John William Hart, a wise, hard-working, devoted, and honest man, passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on January 21, 1940, in Visalia, California, John was the beloved son of Joseph and Eleanor Hart. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, James and Robert. John graduated from Redwood High School and the College of the Sequoias, laying the foundation for a life filled with dedication and service.
John was a citrus farmer and a volunteer firefighter for the Ivanhoe Fire Department. He also served in the National Guard and was a devoted Mason from the age of 18 to 85. Known for his tireless work ethic, John never truly retired, famously declaring, "Farmers never retire!"
In 1965, John married Clarinda Hart of Woodlake, California. They shared 51 years of happiness until her passing in 2016. Together, they raised three daughters: Michele (Mathew) Clopp, Nora (Mike) Randolph, and Christine (Eric) Teaff. John's legacy continues through his five grandchildren: Joseph Hart-Lucero, Sam Clopp, Nick Clopp, Madison Teaff, and Brianna Teaff.
John's personal interests included a love for fishing, particularly Alaskan fishing adventures, driving in the mountains, and playing cards with friends. He was deeply involved in his community, serving as the Grandmaster for the Woodlake Masons and attending Foothill Bible Church.
Throughout his life, John lived humbly, worked hard, and was a supportive friend. His family expresses deep gratitude to all who supported and uplifted him in times of health and sickness. John's love for his family was profound, and though he seldom spoke the words, his actions conveyed his affection and pride.
A memorial service to honor John's life will be held at Foothill Bible Church, located at 37721 Road 200, Woodlake, California, on December 17, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
John's memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and his legacy of devotion and hard work will endure through his family and community.
