Mary was a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, sister-in-law, mother, comadre, and friend.
Mary, my mother, was a gift to me, Harvey, Michelle, and others. The bond between us and her was very strong. She gifted us support, confidence, love, and help. She was opinionated, vocal, brave, strong, courageous, and firm. She was tough.
Mary was artistic and creative in the kitchen, cake decorating, sewing, crocheting, and sketching. The rest of her time was spent outdoors and at the casino with my dad.
The love we shared and the lessons she taught are forever. “There will never be any more enchiladas like yours.”
