His ever present smile and always having some humorous remark will not be forgotten. He taught me what rattlesnake tastes like and how to make a stew by burying the pot. He made me a beautiful carved bowl depicting Kokopelli (an Indian spirit) which I treasure. His work here is done, he can now carve glorious pieces in heaven.

I have always loved being around Olin...he was a few years older that me but got to know him even better as my postman in Coalinga. Every time I would go to mail something, he always took time to visit.
May the Holy Spirit be your comfort and strength. I know you will have many great memories after 50 yrs of marriage! Blessings!

Such a terrific man, I feel so blessed to have known him. Such great memories of him teaching us things about family, art and the outdoors.

We will be known forever by the tracks we leave. Dakota

Dear Aunt Joan, I am sorry for your loss. I remember Uncle Olin as a sweet gentle man who always had a hot cup of coffee in his hand! It's been many years since I've seen you. Hopefully you remember me! Love you always, Susie (Little) Rodriguez

Olin was one of the sweetest men I ever knew, and I am blessed that he was my cousin. He was loved and will be missed.
