Alma Brodeur was known to the world as Sister Marie Michele Joseph Little Sisters Of The Poor. She selected the religious life to serve God. As a Little Sister Of The Poor, she was stationed in different places and was able to provide loving care to many seniors. She passed away on August 23, 2011 at the Queen of Peace Residence with many of her fellow Sisters by her side. Her Funeral Services will be as follows: Viewing will take place on Sunday August 28, 2011 at the Queen of Peace Residence located at 110-30 221st Street Queens Village, NY 11429. Telephone 718-464-1800. Viewing hours are 2-5 and 7-9 PM. Prayer services will take place during these times. Her mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Queen of Peace Residence on Monday August 29, 2011 at 11AM. After the Mass she will be interred at Holy Cross Cemetery located in Brooklyn, NY.
