Angelina “Jill” Fascina, of Astoria, New York, passed away on March 28, 2012. Jill was born in Astoria to Pasquale and Beatrice DeRosa. She married Michael Fiscina in St. Rita’s Church, LIC, NY, on October 17, 1943. Jill worked for many years for the NYC Board of Education. She was a devoted wife , mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother who enjoyed her family. One of her passions was cooking. Jill is survived by her son Peter (Ellen) Fiscina, her daughter Barbara (Frank) Annitto, her grandchildren, Michele, Peter, Mark, Christine and Jill and also 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving sister Lily Conti and numerous nieces and nephews.
