July 17, 1930 – April 30, 2015

Ann P. Lavelle 84, of Astoria, New York, entered into eternal rest on Thursday April 30, 2015 at Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens.

Ann was born in Ireland to her parents Patrick and Mary McDonnell. Ann was predeceased by her husband William Lavelle.

She is survived by her children, son and daughter in laws, Patrick and Jacqui Lavelle, Ann Marie and Tom McLaughlin and William and Carol Lavelle, and her grandchildren Danielle, Kristen, Ann Marie, Lauren, Kerry, Breanna, Thomas, Keira,Charice, Carol-Anne and a host of family and friends.

Ann had a career as a beautician, and later went on to open her very own salon, Ann’s Beauty Salon. Ann had a giving spirit and was kind hearted to everyone she met. Ann will be missed deeply by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Thomas M. Quinn & Sons Funeral Home, 35-20 Broadway, Long Island City, NY 11106 from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 pm. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at 9:30a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Most Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery located in Hawthorne, New York
