I would like to acknowledge the beautiful memories you all have shared here about my Dad. They bring happy tears to my eyes as I read them. It is heartwarming to see that he has touched the lives of many others as much as he has touched our's - his family. Thank you!

I will always remember Tony Ghelfi for his dedication to Saint Joseph's Parish in Astoria: his presence in the "counting room" every Sunday for so many years; his tireless efforts to make the Parish's annual bazaar/carnival a success; the fact that he was always there when anything significant was happening -- always ready to pitch-in & help. He was a real inspiration.

I pray that God will surround your family with His loving and comforting arms during this time. I know Mr Gelfi was blessed with a loving sweet spirit who touched everyone. It shows throughout these beautiful photos you have posted. May God Bless and keep each of you.

Our sympathies and love go to Evelyn, Janet, Steve, Denise & Steven.  So many fond memories of summers in Astoria and Huntington, baseball games behind the vegetable garden, card games, cousin parties and just lazing under the apple tree.  When my mom, Frank and I went to a Met game, cousin Ant'ny got us better' seats and we saw Willie Mays' last homerun. His gentle, happy soul has touched so many and he will be sorely missed, but I am happy in knowing there are lots of loving Greco's to welcome him home.  Love you, Ant'ny.

Uncle Tony had a great personality. He was fun and up lifting. He was a big Yankees fan. When the Royals played the Yankees on TV in NY, I used to look for him or Steven in the crowd. This year, when I attend a Royals game,
 I will order a beer and secretly look north toward NY at the sky and toast Uncle Tony. He was a great role model and a good man. You can not get better than that. He is in heaven at peace with others in the family. He made

I never met Mr. Ghelfi in person, but through Janet I feel like I've known him for years. Recently I had the pleasure of speaking to Mr. Ghelfi on the phone and we spoke as if we had known each other for years. He was a loving man, a family man, a giving man, a man who had a very strong faith and a man who loved his family very much. When we spoke to told me he loved me - and I was so touched by his.  Mr. Ghelfi I love you and will miss you.  Until we meet again - Love Liz.

I worked with Tony at Yankee Stadium for many years.  EVERYBODY loved him.  He was a sweet, caring and funny person.  I can still hear him singing Deep in the Heart of Texas!  RIP, my friend.

The Bible tells that, as believers in Jesus, we are to be conformed to His likeness (Romans 8:29). We should strive to behave as Jesus would behave.  My dear cousin Anthony was my babysitter, my mentor, my role model and my best friend.  Every day with him, for the last 72 years,  was filled with joy, laughter and love.  He will be missed but never forgotten.

I always looked up to Uncle Anthony as a strong man with an amazing personality and humor! He always made me laugh even being the Mets fan that I am. He will be missed and I will be sure to honor him in my next race to beat cancer. My condolences and love to Aunt Evelyn, Janet, Denise, Steve and Steven

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Uncle Anthony. We are sorry we can't be there to offer our sympathies personally and to give you all a hug. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. 

I have the fondest memories of Uncle Anthony and so tonight..... I put my pajamas in my overnight bag and I'm ready to sleep over ;-)

Uncle Anthony, as he was fondly called by his relatives. He once told me " Tom, you'll always be a Greco to me!". He knew I loved & respected everyone in the Greco Family, that I married into. Uncle Anthony, was a great Husband, Father, and Friend to all who knew him. He will be missed dearly. I remember as a teen  sleeping over cousin Anthony house and we would play in the school yard. Also spent time at the house in Huntington where would play cards. Fond memories. Miss you.
