Tomorrow will be a year and there's not a day that goes by that I don't miss you.  Te amo mamita.  Besitos.

I have missed you each and every day. Near or far I felt your love every day of my life, and I still do. It has been impossible for me to come to grips that you are gone. It has been unbearable because you gave me life, and you were my first memory and the only woman that truly loved me. Your love was unconditional, warm. I miss you saying, yo te amo tambien papi. I pray for you everyday. And miss you so very much.

Aura was simply lovely, and loving. I so value each and all of her wonderful children--her radiance is with us in them.  My condolences and love to all.

She devoted her life to her 8 children, 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and the rest of the family. She was proud of every one of them and embraced every moment spent with each one.  As the matriarch, she loved unconditionally and every chance we had we each let her know how her love was reciprocated.
I always called her Dna.Nercy. For over 30 years she had earned my utmost admiration and respect.Throughtout the years, we shared our passion for music, tangos, and old Spanish films. We would sit for hours at a time listening to nostalgic old songs while discussing the careers and wherabouts of the interpreters. She would go on and on about the artists. She enjoyed dancing and singing along to all the songs. Time just passed by as we both appreciated our favorite pastime. She loved playing and winning at  Parchesi,Colombian rules applied..lol.She enjoyed teaching the younger ones so they carry-on the tradition.She also loved cooking for the entire family. Our gatherings could easily consist of 15-30 immediate family members. Nonetheless, Dna. Nercy was happiest when we were all together.She would proudly comment how the family had grown and continues to grow.
Dna.Nercy, will undoubtedly live on thru our family. We are all so fortunate to have priceless memories to share and cherish. I think we all agree that one of her favorite ballads best summarizes how we feel..."amor eterno e inolvidable (eternal love and unforgettable)." Que descanse en paz, Dna.Nercy...xoxo..Daisy
