Obituary of Aurelia Dauz
Aurelia Lee Dauz “Lee”, age 79, a long time resident of Astoria, New York and an immigrant from the Philippines, entered into God’s kingdom peacefully on March 11th, 2023. She was born on February 1, 1944, to Victoria Tomines-Dauz and Ramon Dauz. Aurelia, a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, also known as grandma NY and sister, is survived by her daughter Jennifer, her son in law, Pogi, and grandson’s Hunter and Grant. Aurelia possessed a personality and natural charm that allowed her to make friends in any situation, and her contagious laughter brought joy to everyone around her. She was a woman with countless stories and tribulations, which never failed to amaze those around her. Aurelia was a truly great woman whose impact will be forever felt by her family, who loves her dearly. She was a selfless woman whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of her loved ones. Her ability to sacrifice, provide, support, forgive, and love will be forever ingrained in all she knows. A gathering for Aurelia will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Thomas M. Quinn & Sons, 41-45 58th Street, Woodside, NY 11377. A mass of christian burial will occur Friday, March 17, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Most Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church, 32-23 36th Street, Astoria, NY 11106. A committal service will occur Friday, March 17, 2023 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, 172-00 Booth Memorial Avenue, Flushing, NY 11365.
