

Carol was born on March 18th 1939, to Ludmilla Mikridge and Michael Pisano in Jamaica, NY before moving to Astoria, NY. She was their only child.
After a short courtship, Carol married Charles Geduldig, a PFC in the Army. They lived in Boeblingen, Germany for the first year or their marriage before the moved back to the United States. They finally settled back home in Astoria, NY.
To some, Carol was a devoted family member, a teacher and Friend.
She worked at Queens Lutheran School for many years as a nursery teacher. She was one of the first women on the Trinity Lutheran Church council and serving as chairperson on different committees. Carol was very active in her church and even completed the Diakonia course, becoming the first Female Deacon at Trinity. She also enjoyed teaching Vacation Bible School, was a Girl Scout leader, enjoyed cooking for the Homeless shelter, she also started and taught the women's quilting group.
In 1977, Carol started helping in the Student Union office at W.C. Bryant HS and went on to become a Para Professional. She was affectionately known as "The Pretzel Lady" in the Bryant Union until her retirement in 2005.
Carol is survived by her children Joyce Rivera, Steven & Laura (Karosos) Geduldig, and her granddaughter Alicia (Rivera) DelGiorno.
She was preceded in death by her husband Chuck, who passed in 2003.
She will be remembered for her kindness to others, how she would go out of her way to help anyone and her love to travel.
