Celeste Joan Sturdivant, daughter of the late Gertrude Sturdivant and Walter James Sturdivant, was born March 29, 1950 in New York City. Celeste departed this earthly life and entered into a peaceful sleep in death on Tuesday, August 6th 2013.
Celeste was educated in the New York Catholic School System and attended Julia Richmond High School in New York City. Soon after, Celeste began a career as a lab technician.
Celeste leaves to cherish her memories, three sisters, Denise Sturdivant, Renee Sturdivant, and Elise Braithwaite. Two brothers, Michael Sturdivant, and Elisha Braithwaite, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and many more friends. She loved her entire family; strived for peace and harmony, and wished only the best for everyone.
