Clotilde Gomez 84, a long-time resident of Woodside passed on Tuesday the 9th of August suddenly at Elmhurst Hospital. Born on October 16, 1931 in Havana Cuba she was the beloved wife of the late Rogelio Gomez. A loving mother, mother -in- law, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was loved dearly by her 5 siblings and many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her daughter Jeanette Gomez, son Carlos Gomez and her grandchildren Nicole, Megan, Steven, Michael and great grandson Jayson. Clotilde loved dance, music and was an amazing cook. She had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. She will be missed dearly by her family and many friends
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Kenneth-Roth in Woodside Queens. Calling hours will be Friday Auguest 12th from 2-5 and 7-9pm. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:30a.m. at the funeral home and at 9:30am at St. Mary Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to The American Heart Assocation.
