Daniel Shea

Shea, Daniel of Maspeh Queens. Formerly of Glen Cahirciveen, County Kerry, Ireland at the age of 90. He passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Survived by his wife Delia. Loving father of Mary Hunt (Tom) of San Francisco, Anne Flynn (Sean), Patrick & Thomas (Kathy). Dear grandfather of Neil, Jennie & Julie Hunt, Sean (Kerri), Brendan & Brian Flynn, Shanna (Kevin Moran), Kristie, Veronica and Daniel Shea. Cherished great grandfather of Kevin Moran, Jr. Dear brother Patsy (Maureen) and the late John, Hannah and Mary. Dear uncle to many beloved nieces and nephews and with many friends in Ireland. Daniel, formerly of 97th Street NYC and 65th Place in Woodside was the proud owner of numerous Taverns in the Queens area. He was an avid huntsman & card player in Ireland where he spent 6 months of every year. He was a "real Character" and will be missed but never forgotten. After a viewing at the Kennedy-Roth Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Saint Mary's Winfield on Saturday at 10AM he was interred at Calvary Cemetery.
