

On July 24, 1945 at Metropolitan Hospital Dolores Royal was born to the proud parents, Sidney Noble Sr. and Alcquia Nellie Coakley. Dolores Royal had 12 brothers and sisters. Dolores was affectionately known as “Dee Dee” and “Kelly”.
Dolores early childhood education began while living in the Bronx. Dolores attended P.S. 39, J.H.S 60 and Walton H.S. During her high school years, Dolores and her family moved to Corona, Queens. She attended and graduated from Newtown, H.S.
It was the spring of 1965, while standing at the unemployment office, Dolores met the Late Great Charles Royal Jr. This encounter led to marriage on January 4, 1967. From this union, three were born, Troy “Ramel” Royal, Tawana “Cissy” Royal and Ta-Tanisha “Totsey” Royal.
Dolores enjoyed a very successful career at Coler Memorial Hospital. Her employment started as a switch-Board Operator in the Telecommunications Department, in 1978. Spring of 2003, Dolores retired from Coler – Goldwater Specialty Hospital as Director of Telecommunications.
On October 4, 2010, Rev. Gilbert Pickett Sr., Pastor, baptized Dolores at Mount Horeb Baptist Church in Corona, Queens.
Dolores Royal was and will always an be Amazing Women. She is an outstanding Mother, an awesome Grandmother and Tremendous Great Grandmother. Her love and Kindness extends beyond her family. She was truly a Mighty Servant, constantly helping others.
Dolores Royal was always, so proud of her children and so fond of her grands/great grands.
She leaves to mourn : her devoted children Troy, Tawana, Ta-Tanisha and stepdaughter Tara Ford, her only daughter-in-law Colette Royal, five sons-in law; Luis Caussade, Andre Craddock, Antonio Jones, Jason E., and Clifford Marquis, eight grandson; DuShone, Ramel, Tyjuan, Arquel, Arik, Yasone, Tyree and Andrew, eight granddaughters; Dalissa, Devaine, Yanasti, Daisha, Cy-Asia, Alexis, Chanya, and Monae,two great granddaughters; Makayla and Kaliyah, one great grandson Tacori, four adopted grandsons; Rashad, Ramel, DeVaugh and Dwight Wells and longtime companion Frank Tarpley, four godchildren; Christopher Morton, Terrone Smith, Jamaila Stewart and Stephanie Watts, four sisters; Britteen Miller, Alice Faye McAdoo, Shelly Noble, and Millicent Holt, three brothers; Eugene Noble, Leonard Duff and Frankie Duff, four sisters-in-law; Christine Royal (her big sister), Theresa Royal, Nancy Shaw, and Marie Duff, three brothers- in- law; Charles Miller Sr., Charles Shaw, and Ronald Holt, her godbrother Louis Morton and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
