Mrs. Dorothy Christopher was born on May 30, 1921 in Shell Bluff, Georgia to Ulysess and Inez Waltower. Dorothy entered into eternal rest on January 13, 2016 at Flushing Hospital, Flushing, New York, she was 94. Beloved wife of the late Roydon Christopher. Loving mother of Fred Anderson, Jr., and Charles Christopher. Cherished grandmother of Fred Anderson III, Marc Anderson, and Dawn Ford and her husband Joseph. Great grandmother of Randi Ford, and Joseph Ford, IV. Dear sister of Mary Price and the late Pauline Adams.
Dorothy moved to New York in 1944 and had been a resident of the Goodwill Terrace Apartments, Astoria, New York for over 40 years. There she enjoyed puzzles and group gatherings.
There will be a private cremation for Dorothy and her cremated remains will be interred with her husband at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, New York.
