

Geraline aka Gerri was granted her angel wings on October 30, 2012. Geraline attended P.S 4 in Bronx, NY until 4th grade and she relocated to queens where she attended P.S. 80 to finish her elementary education. Then she attended I.S. 72 for Junior High School. Furthering her education she attended Andrew Jackson High School and Long Island City High School in Queens, NY. After receiving her GED she then attended a nursing program at Allen School.
Gerri then went to work at the VA Hospital in Queens. She later moved on to Bernard Fineson from there she worked at Creedmore Psychiatric Institution as a Hygiene Therapy Aide. Geraline was soon promoted to Corrections Officer at Kirby Forensics on Ward Island. Geraline was a hard worker and loved all her jobs. She was always helping someone with their problems and always did all she could for anyone. Gerri was baptized at the age of 8 years old at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Queens NY. She also was a choir member at Mount Carmel Baptist Church. She later than went to Mount Olive Baptist Church in Hollis Queens. When she couldn't attend church she would fellowship at Center of Hope Church in Long Island City. On July 2, 1994 she married Dillon Hibbert and from this union they had 2 children.
Geraline aka Gerri leaves to cherish her memories her mother and best friend Nina Adams and Father Clarence Adams Sr. Her children: Leonard Adams (28), Damaris Ashley Hibbert (11), and Dillon Hibbert Jr. (9); Siblings: Frances (Frank) L.I.C, NY and Clarence Jr. (Elizabeth) Brooklyn, NY; Aunts: Inez Richardson, Eileen Adams, Geraldine Jones, Mildred Adams, and Gardenia Gwaltney; Uncles: Eugene, Clayton, Bernard, Dennis Adams and Thomas Gall; Nieces: Shanemia, Lynnea, Crystal Nina; Nephews: Alonzo Jr. (Lil Lonnie), Christopher, C.J., Junior; Great -nieces: Skye, Amya; Great-nephews: Alonte, Alonzo, Amani; Godbrothers: Kharton Johnson, & Barry Brooks. Godsisters: Zabrina Filmore & Beatrice Harris (LB), and also a host of other family and friends.
