Mr. Harold Gabriel Smith "Howie" was born on October 6, 1936 in New York, New York to Harry E and Ella Smith. Howie entered into eternal rest on April 29, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital, West Islip, New York, he was 79. Beloved husband of Ellen Smith. Loving father of Sheila Gonzalez and her husband Roger, Eileen Zito and her husband Jack, and Agnes Lombardo and her husband John. Devoted poppy of Daniel Gonzalez and his wife Jessica, Ella Gonzalez, John Zito, Cara Zito, Harry Gonzalez, Emma Gonzalez, Gianni Lombardo, and Max Lombardo. Also survived by a host of loving friends. May he rest in peace.
