Herminia Arias, 91, of Astoria, NY, passed peacefully in her home Sunday, April 5, 2015. She was born in Yonkers, New York on July 22, 1923. She was married to Emilio Arias on Feb. 1, 1946. She is survived by her daughter, Consuelo Arias of New York, NY; and son, Emilio Arias and his wife Maria of Charlestown, RI; two grandsons, Ariel Arias and his wife Sarah, and Aidan Arias; a brother, William Gonzalez and his wife Harriet and family, sister Connie Limia and her family and a cousin, Alvaro García.The Funeral will be held at Quinn´s Funeral Home. Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 8th, 2pm–5pm and 7pm–9pm.The funeral mass will take place at Most Precious Blood Church at 10:30am on Thursday, April 9th followed by the burial at St. Michael´s Cemetery.
