Irmgard Anna Mulligan

Irmgard Mulligan, 91, of Astoria, New York passed away leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and enduring love. A strong and independent spirit, she was known for her quick wit, generous heart, and the ever-present smile that brightened the lives of those around her.

Irmgard found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved long walks, dancing, indulging in sweets, and watching Hallmark movies. She never missed a party and brought energy and laughter wherever she went. With a playful sense of humor, she was quick to tease speak her mind, and share stories of her day. She treasured staying connected with friends—both old and new—and held a special bond with those from her native Germany. Her deep love for Elvis was just one of the many things that made her uniquely unforgettable.

Irmgard had a rare gift for making people feel welcome. She made friends easily and was always looking out for others. Even in her final days, her smile never faded, a reflection of the kindness and strength that defined her life.

She is survived by her beloved son and daughter, daughter-in-law and son-in-law, and her 4 cherished grandchildren. Irmgard’s legacy will live on through the love she gave and the countless smiles she shared.
