Joanne was the devoted mother of two children, Katherine and Abraham, whose lives were shaped by her warmth and strength. She was also the proud "Nana" of Christian, who brought her constant joy and laughter. Her home was always filled with stories,some from the pages of books, others from the life she lived with dignity and love.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her encyclopedic mind, and her ability to make anyone feel seen and heard. Joanne gave of herself freely and generously.
