John Feraru entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 14, 2012. John was born in Romania to Ion Feraru and Maria Constantinescu Feraru on June 13, 1939. He came to the United States in 1969 and lived in Astoria ever since. John drove a New York City yellow cab for over 40 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Yvonne Prieto and her husband Hernan; his son, Diego Gutierrez; his grandson, Alex Prieto and his siblings in Romania, Mia Fieraru and Petrian Feraru. Visitation will be held Monday, October 15, 2012 from 4:00 - 9:00 P.M. and the funeral procession to Calvary Cemetery will depart from the funeral home on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 10:30 A.M.
