Josephine Turdo

Josephine Turdo , of Bronx New York passed away on March 2, 2016, peacefully, surrounded by her children. She was born in New York City, New York on July 17, 1934. “Jo” graduated from Christopher Columbus High School in January 1953.

She was married to Guy Turdo on September 17, 1955, in Saint Lucy’s Church.

Jo had a career as a medical secretary.

She had a passion for her children, cooking, singing, dancing. She was very social and loved buying records.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Carlucci and Lisa Truffi, and her son, Christopher Turdo; her sons-in-law Leonard Carlucci and Carl Truffi; her grandchildren Amanda Truffi, Leonard Anthony Carlucci, Michael Truffi, and Tyler Truffi; also survived by her sister and brother.

Visitation will be held at Sisto Funeral Home located at 3489 East Tremont Avenue, Bronx NY 10465 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. Funeral mass will take place on Monday at 11:00am, St. Pius X R.C Church in Scarsdale. Entombment to follow Ferncliff Cemetery.
