Ms. Kathleen Norma Barnett

October 26, 1922 – May 23, 2015

Kathleen Norma Barnett, 92, died Saturday, May 23, 2015, at her home. She was born in Manhattan and was predeceased by her parents, Mary (nee Barry) and Francis E. Barnett, her brother Francis E. Barnett, Jr. and her sister Mary Patricia Madden. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews and their spouses: Patricia (Madden) Moran, Suzanne Madden, Kathleen (Madden) and Michael Schmalz, John Madden, Susan and Kevin Madden, Diane and Daniel Madden, Mary (Madden) and Kenneth Nolan, Denise (Barnett) and Daniel McBride, Madeline (Barnett) and Richard Hay, Roseanne and Gary Barnett, Geraldine and Robert Barnett, Stephen Barnett, Mary (Barnett) and Richard Gianmino and Diane (Barnett) and Brian Corr, in addition to many great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Kathleen retired from NJ Transit-Rail (formerly the Penn Central Railroad) in 1987 after more than 45 years of service. She was a communicant of St. Joan of Arc Church for many years.
