She helped many family members achieve their educational and life goals by providing financial, moral, or spiritual support. She always put everyone else’s needs and happiness before her own.
Lucy graduated valedictorian in high school, was a full scholar in college, and earned her Master of Arts in Nursing. After her retirement, she became a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant.
She was a respected administrator at NYC Health and Hospital Corporation, but mostly, she was a beloved registered nurse who provided care to all her patients and to sick people outside of her work.
Lucy loved classical music, reading, gardening, New York Yankees, and most of all, her corgi! As for her love of gardening, she said that she inherited it from her father, a Geodetic Engineer. She showered her grandchildren with love and attention, she enjoyed catching up with her college classmates, her friends for over 60 years, and she stayed informed about political and global issues.
