Margaret (Gretta) Lydon passed peacefully at the age of 96 at Dry Harbor Nursing Home in Middle Village on Monday June 19th.
Beloved Mom to Cathy and Mike, beloved Grandmother to Christopher and Michael.
Gretta is survived by her sister Phyllis McDermott and many nieces and nephews in Ireland.
She lived in Jackson Heights for over 60 years and was an active member of Sat. Joan of Arc Church.
After almost 30 years, Gretta is reunited with Johnny, the love of her live.
May she rest in eternal peace.
A visitation for Margaret will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Conway Funeral Home, 41-45 58th Street, Woodside, NY 11377. A mass of christian burial will occur Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Joan of Arc RC Church, 82-00 35th Avenue, Jackson Heights, NY 11372. A committal service will occur Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at St Michaels Cemetery, 72-02 Astoria Blvd. S, East Elmhurst, NY 11370.
