Maria Isleni Cruz Arcila

Maria Isleni Cruz-Arcila nacida el 15 de abril de 1946 en Armenia, Quindio-Colombia. Era la mayor de cuatro hermanos, madre de seis hijos, abuela de seis nietos, bisabuela de una bisnieta, , una gran esposa, y querida suegra. Casada con Avelino Arcila por 57 años, ella era la matriarca de la familia y superó muchos tiempos difíciles para sacar a su familia adelante, nunca se dio por vencida. Como su madre, Ana-Elisa Pacheco, era una guerrera desde su nacimiento. Era una mujer correcta que siempre enseño con el ejemplo. Siempre encontrábamos en ella una solución a todos los problemas con su apoyo, amor, fe, y dinero. Además, aunque nunca tuvo una educación formal, creía firmemente que el darnos educación era su mejor herencia. Tristemente, falleció hoy, cinco de julio de 2023, rodeada del amor de su familia.

Su velorio se llevará a cabo el 10 de julio de 2023 de 3:00 pm a 8:00 pm en Conway Funeral Home, 41-45 58th Street, Woodside, NY. La misa de cristiana sepultura se llevará a cabo el 11 de julio de 2023 a las 9:30 am en Nuestra Señora de Fatima, 25-02 80th Street, East Elmhurst, NY. El entierro será a las 12:15 pm en el cementerio de St. Charles, 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY. Section 104 - Range G - Tumba 39.

Maria Isleni Cruz-Arcila was born the 15th of April of 1946 in Armenia, Quindio-Colombia. She was the eldest of four siblings, mother of six children, grandmother of six grandchildren, great grandmother of one granddaughter, a great wife, and a beloved mother in-law. She was married to Avelino Arcila for 57 years. She was the head of the family and worked very hard to get her family ahead in life, like her mother, Ana Elisa Pacheco. Maria Isleni was a trustworthy woman who always led by example. Her family and friends always found an answer to their problems through her support, love, and faith. She always believed that the best inheritance was to give her children the formal education that she never had. Sadly, she passed away today, 5th of July, surrounded by the love of her family.

Reposing will be held on Monday July 10th, 2023 between 3:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Conway Funeral Home, 41- 45 58th Street, Woodside, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 11th, 2023 at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Fatima, 25-02 80th Street, East Elmhurst, NY. Laid to Rest will be held at St. Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY, after the Mass.
