on Jan 28, 1946 in Havana, Cuba and moved to the US in August of 1969
with her son Primo and former husband Primitivo. She met Vincent
Galante around 1990, and they married January 30, 1994 in Queens NY,
where they have resided since. Maria is survived by her loving husband
Vincent Galante, her son Primo Iglesias and his wife Barbara, her
granddaughter Genevieve, her brother Rogelio Andrade, and many nieces,
nephews, and dear friends. Maria was preceded in death by her parents
Caridad and Rogelio Andrade, and her former husband Primitivo Fernandez
Iglesias.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:45 AM on Thursday, July 10th,
at St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Jackson Heights, Queens,
followed by the Rite of Committal and Entombment at St. Michael's
Cemetery. The family will greet friends and loved ones from 2:00 PM
until 7:00 PM on Wednesday July 9th at Kennedy-Roth Funeral Home, 41-
45 58th St, Woodside, NY. In lieu of flowers, please consider a
