Maria Elvia Salazar, of Astoria, passed away on November 20th, 2013. She was born in Colombia on September 16th, 1920. She will be greatly missed by her friends, family and all the lives she touched in her time on Earth. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Rita's Church at 9:30 am to be followed by the burial at St. Michael's Cemetery.
