Mary Patricia Walker

Mary dedicated over 60 years of her life to nursing, serving with compassion and skill at both Boulevard and Flushing Hospital. Her gentle nature, caring hands, and tireless devotion touched countless lives throughout her long career. Especially for those who were pregnant and their babies.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late James Walker for 51 wonderful years. Together they built a beautiful life centered on love and family. She was the devoted mother of James and Sarah, Rosemary and Angelo, Annmarie and Peter, and Kevin and Tara.

She took immense pride in her large and loving family, cherishing every moment as “Grandma” to Emily and Andrew, Michael and Deanna, Ryan and Stefani, Kevin, Colin, Grace, Danielle and Jack, Evan, Mark, Justin, James, Caroline and Jason, Kiera and P.J., and Katherine. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Nora, Kennedy, and Riley.

Mary will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy of care, generosity, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
