Micheli Yamka, 49, passed away on Tuesday, October 26 at her home in Astoria, Queens. She was born in Manhattan, NY and resided in Manhattan and Brooklyn before moving to Queens twenty-eight years ago. She was most recently employed by Bayard Advertising Agency as an Account Executive Assistant where she worked for 15 years. She was engaged to be married in October of 2011. She is predeceased by her parents Harry and Mary (Hart) Yamka and brother Harry who passed earlier this year. Surviving are her sisters Jo-Ann Flannery of Port Jefferson, Long Island and Kathy Scotton of Concord, NC, 12 nieces and nephews and 26 grand nephews and nieces and her beloved dog Tramp. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 9-11:30 am at Thomas Quinn & Son Home For Funerals. Broadway & 35th Street, Astoria (Long Island City).
