

He entered into eternal rest on September 15, 2013 at Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens. His brother Michael Coleman and sister Joyce Richardson predeceased him in death.
Reggie was educated in the NYC public school system. Reggie always worked various jobs over the years. He often worked security jobs throughout Astoria and Long Island City.
Reggie’s latest job was at a neighborhood grocery store called “Stop and Shop” known to all as “The Back Store.” He was a dedicated hard worker and liked by all.
Reggie enjoyed reading the Post newspaper as well as other interesting articles.
He was known for his exquisite taste in fashion and wearing two tone colors. He took pride in matching his hats with his outfits.
Reggie enjoyed basketball, music, and dancing. Reggie attended Long Island City Tabernacle Church; He enjoyed listening to the sermons and gospel music.
He was a caring loving son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Reggie was very fond of his great niece Jasmine Parker and his great great niece Tashyanna Richardson. Reggie leaves to mourn in his departure, his beloved only daughter Takia Burke of Long Island City, NY, four siblings George Coleman of Astoria, NY, Karen Coleman of Dallas, TX, Dewayne Richardson of Bronx, NY and Charlmain Parker (Nathaniel “Skeet” Parker) of Long Island City, NY; a lifelong great friend, Michelle Finklea of Astoria, N Y. which he refers to her as “Shell”; she held the key to his heart.
He also leaves behind a great niece Nicole Richardson of Astoria, NY;
a great nephew Antoine Parker of Long Island City, NY, and a host of other relatives and friends.
