Rose Marie McDonagh (nee Keenan), passed away on June 19, 2025, at home in Astoria, NY, shortly after her 90th birthday. Rosie was born in Broomfield, Co. Monaghan, Ireland and moved to New York in her twenties. She worked at Shearman & Sterling on Wall Street, and later American Savings Bank in Astoria. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Predeceased by her husband Gerard, her sisters Annie Reynolds and Brigid O’Toole, and her brothers Eugene Keenan and John Keenan. Rose is lovingly remembered by her children, Desmond; Aine and her husband Bernhard; Ciaran and his wife Carmel; her grandchildren Markus, Eva, Hannah and Delia; her sister Mary Murtagh; her brothers Patrick, Jimmy, Tommy and Kevin Keenan, as well as her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
