Ruth Charlotte Brandle

Ruth Brandle, née Friedlander, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2024, at the age of 100. Born on March 2, 1924, Ruth was a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Brandle. Ruth's life was a testament to love and devotion, raising her children Harry and Debbie with unwavering care. Her family remembers her fondly as "Grandma", "Mema", and "Big Grandma," and she took immense joy in watching her grandchildren—James, Jennifer, Jason, and Justin—and great-grandchildren—Matthew, Madeline, Griffin, Sullivan, Lorelai, and Charlie—grow and thrive.

A Visitation will be held at Conway Funeral Home, located at 41-45 58th Street, Woodside, NY 11377, on August 19, 2024, from 2 PM to 7 PM. The final viewing will take place from 10:30 AM to 12 PM on August 20, 2024. A committal service will occur Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Long Island National Cemetery, 2040 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735. Guests can meet at the cemetery or drive in the procession from the Funeral Home.

Ruth's legacy of love and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
