

Steven Lucky Frazier was born on November 20, 1960 in Brooklyn, New York; to the proud parents, Mr. and Mrs. William & Helena Frazier. He graduated from William Cullen Bryant High School, and attended the College of New Rochelle.
Steven was a born musician. As a child, he would use pots and pans to create music. Once he received his first drum set, he quickly mastered the art of playing, which is how he pounded himself into many people’s hearts, by uplifting their spirits through music. Ultimately, Steven became a member of the “Southside Band”. The steady tempo and groove of his rhythmic drum solos would mesmerize audiences. Steven along with his band members has rightfully established the reputation for giving an amazing show.
Steven was a family man, with a humorous nature. He was a giving and loving person. Many adored him. He worked as a Culinary Technician at the Southeast Bronx Neighborhood Corporation, for which he was known and loved by many.
On January 6, 2014, Steven was called home to the Lord. He is survived by his two children, Akilah and Steven Jr. Grandchildren: Anastasia, Ashanti, Alaric, Alair, Aliyah and Alyssa. Siblings: Carolyn, Patricia, Robert, Alvin, Judy, and Valerie. His long-term companion Gladys. And a host of nieces and nephews. Steven Lucky Frazier, will truly be missed
