We were all are very sad to hear of Susan’s passing, but it’s hard to think of her without wanting to smile and remember how she could light up a room with her warmth and positive energy! We all looked forward to her visits to Tipp and knew she would want to see as many of us as possible and hear all the news. Her itinerary was always jam packed with visits and music and Irish dinners!

Susan had a special gift to make people feel welcome, her witty sense of humour was infectious. Her cheeky smile and wink made sure the customs officers looked the other way as she smuggled suitcases of Galtee sausages out of the country!

Susan was good and kind and generous and Mum always remembers the beautifully packaged parcels which made their way across the water when they were small,  ensuring they were the best dressed kids on the street. 

She was one of a kind and will no doubt be missed by all the people she encountered near and far.

Great memories of 2018 
Great sadness that it can never happen again we’ll miss you big sue.

We have lovely memories of Susan over the years.  She was so much fun and had such a bubbly personality, she lifted the whole room with her fun personality. 

One memory that stands out is the day of my wedding Susan was running late, I had arrived at the church in Holycross with Dad and Susan ran giggling by the wall into the church and laughed saying you don’t see me.  I have that memory on video. We had such a laugh. 

She loved meeting all her great grand nieces and great grand nephews and she always had some American sweets and chocolates for them.

Such happy memories of you and your lovely family. The Corry craic and happy times that we had together are priceless. Memories of the gathering in Queens, fun, great stories, and my memory that won’t fade what you said to me…Sean you are so like John, obviously referring to Daddy. You shared so many more times with the Corry girls, and you gave your love and blessing to Paul and Nicola when they got engaged in New York. Thanks for those beautiful memories 💔😢❤️‍🩹

Maureen , Eileen, Sean , Tommy and families, so sorry to hear of Susan’s passing, we have very fond memories of Susan’s trips to Tipperary and of course our visit to her , we will remember her with great fondness and her big smile and the fun we had with her , she was so full of life  and a joy to spend time with .
