Dearest Dr. Engie, Barbara, Raffy, and all your siblings -

Please accept my and Ferdi's deepest condolences. It is too bad that we only now learned of the passing of your beloved mother. We would have wanted to be physically present, to give a hug or extend our sympathies during a truly difficult time. Nonetheless, please know that Mommy Teresita and all the Remo-Santoses are in our prayers.

We remember meeting her and chatting with her at Sentro, in Makati, when you all went home to celebrate Raffy's 50th birthday. We were impressed by your mother's beauty, kindness, and graciousness. She was truly radiant! She seemed so content and serene, surrounded as she was by those most beloved by her. I clearly saw at that moment where you, Dr. Engie, got your brains and your heart from. Your mother taught you well, and raised you to be the loving and other-centered person you are today. Thank you for sharing her with us for those brief moments, and thank you for continuing her legacy of being a person for others.

May God bless you all, and may Mommy Teresita rest in God's eternal peace.

Much love,

Kathy (& Ferdi)

Lola,
I admire how you built the Santos family foundation on family, love, and kindness. I will miss our deep conversations about life, the importance of education, and what it means to be selfless. I take this quality of putting others first from you. Every moment I’m working at the hospital I think of you and understand the importance of putting others first. Your thoughtfulness of the family & even strangers has always been noticed and appreciated. Your hard work in raising 9 children, 13 grand children has been remarkable. Your love and devotion for Lolo is inspiring. I pray you watch over me and continue to guide me with strength and confidence as I graduate Nursing school this Spring. While I mend my heart knowing that you are gone, I am in no doubt that Heaven has you and Lolo reunited, watching over us with grace and radiating love always. I love you Lola.

Love,
Janell Santos

To The Family Santos: From the very First time I had the pleasure to meet Mrs. Santos many decades ago, she welcome me immediately touching my heart for ever. Her grace, elegance, kind and generous personality made her stand high above and she will be for ever in a special place in my heart. You her children and grandchildren should feel more than Proud for having such a Loving Lady as your Mother and Grandmother.
May you all find comfort by treasuring the memories she left behind from her life for Love, Family Values , Dignity , Love to God and Our Virgen Mary.
With my sincere condolences.
