A  wonderful man. He was always friendly and supportive  although we only knew each other in passing. RIP, Vinnie.


I read that they're thinking of turning the corner of 42nd and Broadway into Vincent Cannariato, Jr. Way. Thought you'd be pleased to know that. You are definitely missed.

This news saddens and shocks me- Our families were friends from Manhattan and then we all attended MPB together- My sister Ellen- your sister Robyn- My thoughts and prayers are sent to your Mom Barbara and your sister Robyn and the rest of your family- especially your son. Rest in peace - xoxo 

Unfortunately, I never met you Vincent.  I only wish I could have. And tears are dropping onto my keyboard now, as I just today learned of your passing. You were what I call 'family'. You hired my son to drive for you; you always spoke so highly of him, and he of you.  When my daughter wanted to hire Vincent's Limo Service to pick us (as parents)  up from a Broadway show that she had gifted us,  with son as our driver...Vincent said he wouldn't accept payment....as a way of showing appreciation to his employees. What a class act!!  How many employers do that? Why do good people like Vincent go so early? My sincere condolences to his family. 

He was our friend, our boss and the ultimate athourity at Vincent Limousine. What a blessing it was to have shared such times together.

Vinny rest in peace. I always remember you with a smile on your face. You always greeted me with  a hello whenever we ran into eachother & we'd bump into each other at Island bakery getting coffee and muffins where you would be with your mom . I extend my condolences to the Cannariato family during this difficult time.

Vincent was a wonderful person. He was "family". My father, Carmine Sgroi, worked for Vince for over 23 years. He treated him like his own father, thus, my dad treated Vince like a 3rd son. They got along tremendously. When my dad wanted to retire, Vince said " no you can't " and, gave him a raise. Vincent's father was my Godfather and, although we didn't see each other on a regular basis, there was a bond between the two of us. 

           Vincent, you will be sorely missed. Your personality was infectious. You lit up the room with your presence. You were truly a wonderful person, a great dad to Joseph and a extremely special fiancé to Anya.

Vinny and I met in 1996 and he was one of the kindest and caring persons I have had the privilege of knowing. Although our paths did not seem to cross very often in the past 10 years I still considered a great friend and mentor. He will be truly be missed.
