Zaida Marie Mercado

Zaida was a beloved wife, mother, godmother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt,

cousin and friend. She fought pancreatic cancer for over three years and is now

at peace.

There are not enough words to explain how much she was loved. She had a

strong, generous, and bright personality that always brought a smile to

everyone’s face.

No one could tell a story as well as she could. Holidays with her

family were always a special occasion, no matter how small.

She loved to travel and see new places and try new foods.

She would always push those around her to better themselves and keep growing.

A visitation for Zaida will be held Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00

PM at Conway Funeral Home, 41-45 58th Street, Woodside, NY 11377. With a

brief prayer service at 6:30pm. Zaida wanted her funeral to be a celebration of

her life, and wanted visitors to wear white or blue instead of black if possible.
