Amil was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 2, 1948. He worked in the restaurant industry in South Florida and retired to Douglasville, Georgia. He was a proud father, husband, and dedicated Jets fan. One could frequently find him with a glass of red wine listening to the Beatles or Frank Sinatra, ready with an encouraging word and magnetic smile. Amil was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
