I can’t wrap my head around this. I love you. I still can’t come to realization that this is the new reality. I know you never doubted my love for you and I never doubted yours. I love you brother. We were supposed to do so much more together. I know you were always so proud of me and you know I was always so proud of you. I love you, I don’t know how I’m going to do this without my person, but I’m going to keep making you proud.

Man… I don’t even have the words. I’ll never forget the day we met — 5th grade, y’all unloading that U-Haul after moving here. I asked Ms. Laura how old you were, and she said we were the same age and even had the same name. That was about the coolest thing ever to a 10-year-old.

Didn’t take long before we were doing everything together — trick-or-treating, staying up all night on Xbox, getting in fights, tearing it up at the dirt track (iykyk). We’d walk around Winder Walmart at 1 a.m. like we ran the place, fish all night at Mulberry Park, and hide under the bridge when the cops showed up.

And I’ll never forget when you killed your first deer. You made the shot, but I ended up having to take over to finish the job lol. We laughed about it then and every time after. But memories we made.

From those wild nights to standing beside each other in our weddings — we’ve been through it all, brother. You’ve been part of my life since day one, and I’ll carry those memories forever… Rest easy Ant

When you first moved to Georgia I remember I didnt like you when you got on the bus. The neighborhood you moved into was built on the old dirtbike track I rode on growing up. I think within the third day of you riding the bus you already flipped my whole anger into friendship. We started hanging out immediately and took you in the friend group. From then on we hangout most days. You had the biggest heart and made everyone feel like a best friend. I dont know if I've met anyone else that has so many "best friends" but somehow you made that impression on everyone. I still to this day randomly think about the fun/dumb stuff we got into as some young teenagers. You will be missed buddy.
