

Anthony James Vitale, born in Cleveland, Ohio, on June 29, 1951, passed away peacefully in Canton, Georgia, on March 13, 2025.
Anthony was a proud Air Force veteran, devoted entrepreneur, and avid cook who lived his life with passion, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to those around him. He carried his military service as a lifelong badge of honor, embodying the values of duty, perseverance, and loyalty in all that he did.
A graduate of St. Joseph’s High School in Cleveland, Ohio, Class of 1969, Anthony went on to earn a Bachelor's degree from Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. He built a successful career as the CEO and founder of Vicomp, Inc. in Canton, Georgia, where his entrepreneurial spirit thrived. He took immense pride in his business ventures, always seeing opportunities where others saw obstacles. Whether launching his own companies or supporting others in their dreams, he believed in the power of hard work, innovation, and taking bold risks.
Later in life, Anthony found joy in driving for Uber and Lyft, where he became more than just a driver—he was a dependable presence, a friendly face, and someone who truly cared for his customers. His dedication to service was a reflection of his larger commitment to people: always showing up and always putting his customers first.
Beyond his professional life, Anthony had a deep love for adventure and culture. He found joy in traveling, experiencing new places, and embracing different traditions. A passionate cook, he loved experimenting in the kitchen and was always eager to try new foods, sharing his culinary discoveries with family and friends. His curiosity and appreciation for life’s flavors reflected his zest for living and his openness to new experiences.
Anthony is survived by his daughter, Lisa Vitale, and her daughters: Raven (Sean) Cavender and their children, Autumn, Brantley, Cohen (deceased), Teagan, Bennett, and Piper; Gillianne (Clay) and their daughter, Vivian; and Leila Kaczala. He is also survived by his ex-wife and lifelong partner, Mary Vitale; his sisters, Sr. Nina Vitale and Carole Tremaglio; as well as his nieces and nephews.
Anthony leaves behind a legacy of service, ambition, and loyalty. Though you have taken your final flight, your spirit soars on in the hearts of those you loved. Aim high, Airman, and rest easy.

Visitation will be at Poole Funeral Home on March 25, 2025, from 2:00pm to 3:30pm with a Service following at 3:30pm in the Poole Funeral Home Chapel.
