

On Monday, May 12th, 2025 Ashley Judith Taylor succumbed to complications from RettSyndrome. Although there were tough times along the way, Ashley was cheerful and contentthroughout her 28 years, a constant source of unconditional love for her family and friends.Rare were the times one did not come away feeling better after spending time with Ashley.
Home for Ashley was with her parents and big brother Derek in Woodstock, GA. Her bedroomwas her favorite place where she would enjoy watching her favorite Disney movies and T.V.shows. Ashley found happiness in everyday activities with her family such as mealtimes(favorites being Mexican and Italian foods), going to her brother’s football games, visiting friendsand family and attending church. She loved and cherished trips in her van to see family in Ohioand trips for family beach vacations in Kiawah Island, SC.
Outside the home in the Woodstock community, Ashley attended Boston pre-school, BascombElementary, Carmel Elementary and Woodstock Middle/High School. She then progressed totwo Adult day programs for special needs, Next Step Ministries followed by Limitless DisabilityServices. Ashley was a member of several area churches with her current being WoodstockCity Church. Many teachers, parapros, therapists, caregivers and fellow students invested timewith Ashley to ensure she enjoyed activities in the community; she was filled with overwhelminglove and joy and gave back the same.
Ashley is survived by her parents, DeAnn & Steve Taylor, her brother Derek Taylor (Wife Abby)her Grandparents Judy Martin and Jo and Shirl Taylor, Aunt and Uncle Suzanna & Ken Lyle,Cousins Mary Kate Hayes Nichols (Husband Tripp), Sara Anne Hayes and Jayson Lyle (WifeAlaina), Aunt and Uncle Alison and Patrick Martin, Cousins Tyler Martin and Jackson Martin,Uncle Greg Taylor, Cousins Shannon Taylor (Husband Eric Shiue), Bryce Taylor (Wife AngelaXue) and Alicia Taylor, Uncle Dave Taylor and Current home caregiver Sara Gagnon.
Preceding Ashley in death are her Grandfather Charles Lewis Martin and Uncle Bobby Hayes.
A memorial service and celebration of life is scheduled for Thursday, May 22nd at 2 PM;Woodstock City Church; 150 Ridgewalk Parkway, Woodstock, GA 30188
