Barbara is survived by her son Jeremy Smith (Deborah), two grandchildren, Shannon and Mackenzie Winn, and her sister, Jeanette Parker Mills. Barbara is preceded in death by both her parents, Lee and Gertrude Parker, two brothers, Lee and Jack Parker, and her sister, Betty Stansell. Barbara worked as an orthodontic technician at the office of Dr. Richard Buhl, DDS.
Her family will miss her greatly.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on February 20, 2022 at the Marion Depot Building in Marion, North Carolina, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
