Ben Arthur Thames, Jr. age 56, passed away suddenly July 31, 2014. Ben is survived by his loving wife Deborah Thames, daughters, Ashley Crockett and her husband Jeff Crockett and Sarah Thames and her Fiance Andrew Oliver, father, Ben Arthur Thames, Sr. and his wife Sharon, mother, Ruby Henry, brothers, Steve Thames and his wife Bernie and Mark Thames, grandchildren, Bianca Morrissey and Hayden Crockett and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, August 4, 2014 at 4:00 pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church 6069 Woodstock Road Acworth, Georgia 30102. Pastor Mike Maxwell and Pastor Matt Fallin will officiate. Interment will folow at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens in Acworth. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 2 until 5 pm at the funeral home.
