Mr. Benjamin Kent Cook

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Hillside United Methodist Church with Dr. Doug Thrasher officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Friday, March 29, 2013 at Woodstock Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to Hillside United Methodist Church, 4474 Towne Lake Parkway, Woodstock, GA 30189 or the German Shepherd Dog Rescue of Georgia, P.O. Box 785 Roswell, GA 30077-0785.

Mr. Cook was born October 28, 1952 in Atlanta, GA to Luther Franklin and Dorothy Marie King Cook. Mr. Cook served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army and was a Master Carpenter in the Atlanta area.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Cook, Woodstock, GA; one daughter, Naomi Comfort Cook and her fiancé, Brent Clark, Marietta, GA; one son, Benjamin Riley Cook, Woodstock; one sister, Kay Bryant (Lee), Blairsville, GA; two brothers, Ron Cook (Chris), Cumming, GA, and Bill Cook, Woodstock, GA; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Kirby, Knoxville, TN; also several nieces and nephews. Kyle and Blaine Bryant, Jared, Tyler and Brittany Cook, Michael and Amy Kirby; many loving friends.
