

Benjamin Wright Keeler, age 72, of Marietta, GA passed away Monday, April 5, 2021, at his home. He was born on April 14, 1948 to Catherine and Robert Keeler. Ben graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in engineering. After graduating he worked for Pittsburg Testing and then he and a business partner started Environmental Exploration, Inc. where he worked until he retired.
Ben had a true love for anything boating. He was most happy when on the water whether it be the ocean or the lake, especially Lake Blue Ridge. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and did a trip across the country with friends.
Ben is remembered for being a caring father, a dedicated father-in-law, a devoted brother and a very proud and loving grandpa. He loved to spend time with his grandkids whether it was boating, watching their sports or just playing in the yard.
Ben is preceded in death by his parents, Catherine and Robert S. Keeler. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathleen Keeler; son, Christopher Keeler; daughter, Beth Crump (son-in-law, Ryan Crump); grandchildren, Leigha Syfrett, Tyler Crump and Addison Crump; brother, Robert S. Keeler, Jr. and cousins and friends.
The family of Benjamin Keeler will be having a private service to remember and honor his life on April 24, 2021 at Eastminster Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to The American Heart Association.
