Bonnie passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026 in Taylorsville, Ga. She was 73. She was born and raised in Ionia, Michigan. She moved to Florida later then moved to Georgia after her beloved husband passed away.
Bonnie enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also was a huge Elvis Presley fan. Bonnie is survived by her children, Billie Jo Zander (Ionia), Tammy (Jeff) vanCamp, (Lowell), Amanda (Tyson) Beckhorn, (Ionia), 2 sons, from Ionia and her 2 bonus sons Allen and Adam Story, (Ionia), her 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Her sister Karen Freeman, (Taylorsville, Ga.), and brother-n-law Gale Zander, (Ionia, MI.), along with several nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Allen Story, her father Lester Bowen, mother, Myrtle (Londyke) Miller, step-father K.O. Miller, siblings Kea Morgan, Leona Zander, Jean Tompkins, Deb Kruis, and Doug Bowen.
In honoring Bonnie's wishes no formal funeral ceremony will be held.
