Brenda Queen

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, April 29, 2022, at Woodstock Church of Christ with Minister Matt Amos officiating. Burial will follow in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens with Poole Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm at the church on Friday prior to the service.

Mrs. Queen was born September 28, 1951, in Fort Payne, Alabama to the late JB and Cleve Dodd Blevins. Mrs. Queen was a longtime member of Woodstock Church of Christ and taught Sunday School. Mrs. Queen was employed for more than 30 years as a Para-pro with the Cherokee County School District.

Mrs. Queen was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Bonnie Blevins; a grandson, Allie Moyer.

Survivors include her husband, Weldon Queen, Canton, GA; two daughters, Laura Rogers, Canton, GA. and Tacey Allen (Darrell), Sylvester, GA; one son, Shane Queen, Canton, GA; two brothers, JB Blevins, Jr. Canton, GA. and Mike Fontaine, Flintstone, GA; three grandchildren, Kelsey Kay, Corey Jones (Reagan), and Owen Queen; six great grandchildren, Kayln Jones, Dean Kay, Brayden Jones, Stella Jones, Allie Jones, and Tate Jones; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
