Brian Allen Mills

The beloved and precious son of Dr. Robert Allen and Michelle Batchelor Mills, Brian was born on July 4, 1997 in Marietta, Georgia and lived with his family in Canton. He was a freshman at River Ridge High School and worshipped at Life Bible Church. He was a wonderful and gifted son and brother and friend.

Brian was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Faye Allsup Batchelor and great grandfather Bruce Batchelor, both of Mobile, AL.

Brian is survived by his parents and his four brothers, Christopher Meitzler (Tara) of Holly Springs, Brandon Meitzler (Kelly Bretz) of Mobile, AL, Daniel Mills of Milledgeville, and Ian Mills of Canton; paternal grandparents Robert and Joan Mills of Cumming; maternal grandfather Larry Batchelor (Pam) of Destin, FL; great grandmothers Mildred McCart of Clarkesville, IN, and Ora Mae Batchelor of Mobile, AL; uncles Sean Batchelor (Leigh) of Mobile, AL, Steven Mills of Dover, OH., Nelson Batchelor of Austin, TX and one aunt Lauren Batchelor Martin (Sonny) Destin, FL, 2 nephews Wyatt and Weston Meitzler and many more loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive visitors at Woodstock Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 29 from 4:00-900 PM. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 30 at Hopewell Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park in Canton.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund to care for the needs of the homeless is being set up in Brian’s name. This was a cause that weighed heavily on Brian’s heart. Donations can be made to Life Bible Church (put Brian Mills on the memo), 124 P Rickman Industrial Drive, Suite 110, Canton, GA 30115.
