Cam, it’s hard to believe that it’s been two years since you last walked the earth. I hope you know how much you’re missed and thought of on a daily basis. Fly high buddy. Keep watching over us during these crazy times

I thought this would be a great thing to do to remember you by. So Today marks the 1 year since you passed. all I can do is just cry. and i miss you so much. and its hard not to be around you. i miss you so much! and I love you buddy. While writing this all I try not to do is cry. and I LOVE YOU SO MUCH BUD! AND I MISS YOU SO MUCH! you will never be forgotten. and your incredible kid. and i am thankful for knowing you. Hey Cam,
I miss you so much, it hurts during this times to not have anyone to talk to. i miss you so much. but i know that i will see you later. i still hurts me that i lost a great friend a good couple of weeks ago. i still cry about this. and i cant talk to anyone about this. you were the only one i could talk to.

Cameron was a great friend, he was the only person that I can talk to about my day. He was not just a best friend , he was like an older brother. Me and Cameron always had a great relationship. He always tried to invite me to the football game on the Fridays that I was busy on. he was truly incredible person. and I will miss him so much. Cameron thank you for always being their for me. I will miss you bro.

Fly high buddy and I will always remember all the little memories we made at grandma Marians and sledding down the big hill into or onto the river!!! You were a wild young kid wish we didn’t live so far so us cousin could of spent more time!! That is one thing I will regret that I’m sure you wouldn’t want me too but I never got to see you older/high school!! You looked and seemed like a great guy!! You got taken from us WAY TOO EARLY!! Ily miss you already

And Cameron,
He was all that but in the very best ways. He took away my pain when I was going through the toughest times and impacted me the best way anyone could impact my life. I know I was supposed to meet him,I know I was supposed to have him in my life.  
I’m going to miss you so much Cameron. 
Your laugh, it was perfect and so contagious. I remember one time we were all hanging out and we all were laughing so hard at who knows what and you kept making fun of my laugh saying it sounded like a car starting up and it only made me laugh more. Oh how I’m going to miss hearing that laugh. & your smile, it was so big that it lit up any room you walked into even on its darkest days. I could be upset and see you smile and make a joke or a dinosaur noise and it would put the same big smile on my face, but it was nothing compared to your smile. I loved your smile so much.
All of our long talks about the past and the now and the future. You’ve inspired me to do so much and work so hard. You brought out the very best in me. You made me feel so alive. You made me feel like myself. I didn’t have to waste my energy to make you understand who I was or what I was feeling you could see the real me and you could understand everything without me explaining anything to you. We had this connection. This connection that I have never had with anyone else. You loved me for who I was. I loved you for who you were, every second you were here even when we drifted apart. I thought of you every day since then and it was hard but i knew you would always be there for me no matter what because that was the person that you were. You always went out of your way to be there for others. You put out this love that will never go away. A part of me will be missing and that hole will never be filled without you.

I was a coworker of Cameron's at taco Bell and he was always such a joy to be around. He always had every one smiling. The family is in my prayers and Cam will be forever missed. Rest in peace bud 

I met Cam over a year ago in my Spanish class. We all didn’t know where we were sitting because  we had assigned seats and I remembered he was one of my first friends to have in that class. The day I met him we instantly became friends and started a class group chat to make sure we were all on top of our grades. He would always have a smile on his face and his earbuds jamming.  He was always that one person who made me feel better when I was nervous for a test and he always had a positive attitude. Cam had this thing about him that made everyone feel like everything is okay and his smile lights up a room. I even remembered one day I saw him with his little pet gecko on his favorite hoodie and seeing both of them his smile was priceless. He is one of the most  sweetest, nicest, energetic guy I have ever met. His dedication to the gym and his passion for the sunset was his thing. Cam was so happy and caring and I just wanna say I miss and love you Cam. I know whenever  I see the sunrise and the sunset you’re here with us. Thank you for being my friend and that special person I always feel comfortable talking to when I felt like I’m by myself. 🤍🧡💙

So many great memories with Cam, I couldn’t pick a favorite. We went bowling, the movies, watched the Super Bowl together, worked together, and mainly spent time hanging out with friends together and talking about life. He would give me advice and I would give him advice on anything going on in his life. We looked to each other, when we were stuck and didn’t know what to do. Every time he entered a room, he lit it up. He always knew what to say to make you feel better. Cam was always smiling, laughing, joking around and having a good time. He was dedicated in whatever it was that he was doing, especially on his fitness goals. He was such a hard worker and wanted to always learn as much as he could. Cam was the best friend I always wanted and I’m so happy we spent so much time together. He was one of a kind and impacted so many people’s life in such a positive way and that will never be forgotten. I love and miss you so much cam.

I taught Cam last year (science). He was one of my absolute favorite students. He was witty, kind, caring and passionate. Cam had an old soul that was wise beyond his years. He was often the person trying to cheer people up or make them laugh with a joke or smile. He asked me daily about my day, my kids, funny things that we talked about. He visited with me weekly this year and would always stop to say hello and catch up when he saw me. 
He had such an impact on everyone he met. Many students have come to me crying and upset that this could happen to such a beautiful kind person. The only thing I can offer them is to live their life like Cam did, for others. Be kind, make others smile and know that if Cam were still here he would be trying his best to cheer them up. 
Nothing can make this better or any easier, hopefully reading these notes will give you some shelter from this terrible storm. I am so fortunate I was able to know Cam and hope that I can live my life like he did, for others. ❤️

I first met Cam in our geometry class in 10th grade at River Ridge.  He brought George and showed everyone with pride. He shared jokes that turned the boring class into a class full of laughter. Since then, Cam and I shared two classes our senior year. First thing in the morning, he was always in his own zone. He listened to music and just did his own thing. We would catch him off guard and his reactions were priceless. Cam had the sweetest, brightest smile that could make anyone’s day. He left such a positive impact and feeling in the air that will never be forgotten. I question his passing so much, like why now? Why him? But, as a school, we have united in his honor. The funniest, sweetest, most smiley kid ever. I miss you so much already bro. You’re the light during these dark times. Fly high, angel.

I got to first know Cam through my lunch table of 11th grade year, then we started having classes together and hanging out with mutual friends. I am so grateful that I got to know and meet a person like him. He brightened the table with his smile, stories, and by telling us how much he wanted to get a motorcycle. I would always laugh at his anger issues and tried to calm him down. He always checked up on the ones he cared about and went out of his way to say hi and “dap up” people. His determination of working out and getting up at 4am almost every morning always amused me. It saddens me that I won’t get to see him graduate with us. Never forgotten:) 

i’ve known cameron since the beginning of my freshman year and although that wasn’t a long time ago everyday of both of these years were the best with him. the first time i had ever met him i was in PE and he was it JROTC and they were running so when i was at the top walking i tripped and he ran into me although it was completely my fault he still got up asked if i was ok and said “sorry, my bad” everyday since then he would pass and laugh and then one time he didn’t instead he came up behind me and scared everything out of my body. we acted like complete crackheads every time we saw each other. and these past 2 days at school i walk the same route thinking of all the memories of him making me laugh and and i know that i’ll never see that again but i have to stay positive because i know that’s what he would’ve done just smile and remember the good times. he had the best smile and the absolute most contagious laugh you have ever heard no matter what mood you are in you will laugh along with him. Cameron your the best and i love you and i’ll miss you very very much<3

I have known Cam since Elementary School. Every time I needed a laugh or I wasn’t feeling good he would always cheer me up. He always gave good advice when you needed it. He is always nice to everyone and anyone that he would meet. You would never see Cameron without a smile on his face.

He was such a gem, Cam. First time we hung out we went to see Long Shot with friends he tried so hard to stay awake and he completely knocked out snoring and all! 
He would always be up for anything and everything, so excited to new things.
We used to listen to this song U Said by lil peep and he would get so hyped up. It amazed me how much of an amazing person he was. 


i’ve known cameron since middle school, i remember he asked me out on a piece of notebook paper in history class, i later in highschool had ROTC with him and he was my PT head. he always pushed everyone to do their best and encourages everyone to help others. he always had the biggest smile and the most contagious laugh. he was an amazing person and i’ll never forget him. he made such an impact on me. he made my bad days at school worth it with a simple smile. but now i know he’s always going to be watching over me and cheering me on

Cameron and I always goofed off together and he was always trying to make me laugh. My favorite memory had to be when we were in math together and we would goof off the whole time until I eventually got yelled at. But it didn’t matter because cam always knew what to do to make your day brighter in the best way 

I've known Cameron since i moved back to the cherokee county school district and we rode the bus together for a year when he was in 8th grade, he would always do the funniest impressions of people and always make everyone smile and laugh. he was a big part of our JROTC  program and we all are greatly missing him. <3

We were friends since 6th grade. When we started our freshman year, we became closer as we were both attending AFJROTC  in august that year. They hosted a boot camp 2 weeks before the beginning of school. that is when Cameron became one of my best friends. He was so caring and sweet, and he was guaranteed to put a smile on someones face when they saw him. He was popular through out school. He was made PT captain the year I hurt my leg. Had it not been for him, I never would have got up and walking after it. He pushed me to reach for my goals.
I will never forget the thing he said to me when I left river ridge in junior year and when I returned my senior year : "Your feet follow a pattern. you can break it, or you too can follow." What he meant was "Make a path that only you can travel" He went by that saying everyday. I just hope his feet make a pattern he wants to walk in the end. My condolences to all of the Clason family.

I met Cameron through a friend, I want to say about the start of last year. We always texted and acted really stupid and I loved it. A couple of times we called each other, but the first time I talked to him over the phone, I can’t exactly remember when, but Cam was in the car and his mom was driving him, I remember him mentioning he has been in the car for a while, and it was at night. Anyways, i just loved how amazing, and genuine he was. He was just such a funny and beautiful soul, and I knew that I wanted to be friends with him for as long as I can. Every time I called Cameron, or texted him, he just had that genuineness and niceness to him that is hard to find in people. Rest in peace Cameron, you will always have a very special place in my heart.
